The "Memorial of Heroes" channel on YouTube is once again accessible after being blocked due to numerous complaints from Russia. According to the Institute of Mass Information, co-founder Gayane Avakyan stated that they managed to restore access.
Avakyan expressed gratitude to everyone who supported and spread the word about the blocking.
She also mentioned that the team reached out to government bodies and organizations that voiced their concerns about the situation.
"Google Ukraine's general manager, Tetiana Lukinyuk, assisted in the unblocking, and we hope that there will be no more such incidents," she emphasized.
The "Memorial of Heroes" channel offers 18 documentaries, including films about fallen heroes and the missile attacks on Dnipro that resulted in 52 casualties, as well as nearly 100 memorial videos preserving the memories of deceased soldiers.
According to new regulations, Roskomnadzor has the right to block websites starting from March 1, 2026, if any "prohibited content" is discovered.
