Today marks the launch of the government program "Winter Support", allowing all citizens of Ukraine residing within the country to apply for a one-time financial aid of 1000 UAH. Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced this via her Telegram channel.
"We are launching the presidential program "Winter Support" — it will provide opportunities and services to help Ukrainians get through the winter season", she stated.
Starting from November 15, applications can be submitted through the "Diia" app, Svyrydenko reminds.
"After submitting, you will receive a confirmation regarding the processing of your application and the payment order. The funds will be credited to the "National Cashback" card. The application deadline is December 24, 2025", the message states.
Funds can be used for paying utility bills, purchasing medications, food, books, as well as for charitable donations or postal services.
These funds must be utilized by June 30, 2026.
Starting November 18, the funds will also be available through "Ukrposhta", Svyrydenko notes. Pensioners and social benefit recipients will automatically receive 1000 UAH on the special account where their pension or benefits are deposited.
The funds can be spent until December 25 on purchasing Ukrainian-made goods sold through JSC "Ukrposhta", and for services provided via Ukrposhta branches, including postal services, utility payments, and donations to the Armed Forces.
"This initiative is part of a comprehensive package of solutions being implemented by the government under the president's directive to support people during the challenging winter period in the face of a full-scale war", Svyrydenko emphasized.
