Repair work is underway on the access roads to the bridge near the checkpoint «Mayaki-Udobne-Palanka». This was reported by the press service of «Avtomagistral-Pivden».

The company notes that during the first two years of the war, the M-15 Odesa-Reni road turned into a main route for grain trucks. The export of agricultural products from Ukraine has shifted to Danube ports. Although the road surface has held up, the excessive load has caused some issues. There has been significant subsidence at the approaches to the bridge near the checkpoint «Mayaki-Udobne-Palanka».

«The deformation negatively affects traffic safety and increases the risk of critical damage to the bridge structures. Our company has been tasked with restoring the road profile and repairing the damaged elements of the bridge structure», – commented representatives from Avtomagistral-Pivden.

While traffic continues on one side of the roadway, the bridge's expansion joints are being replaced, the old surface is being milled at the approaches, and layers of a gravel-sand mixture (GSM) and cement are being laid, along with two layers of asphalt concrete.
