On the evening of January 5, 2026, a fire ignited in an open area on Prykordonna Street in Usatove, Odesa district. According to the Odesa emergency services, a man born in 1986 sustained burns while attempting to extinguish the flames himself.
He was hospitalized. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are being determined.
One unit of equipment and five firefighters from the emergency services, along with one unit of equipment and three personnel from the local fire team 'Nerubaiske,' were deployed to manage the situation.
