From May 19 to 25, 2025, Ukraine celebrates National Accessibility Week, highlighting the importance of inclusion.

Educational institutions are organizing themed events aimed at raising awareness among students about barrier-free environments and attitudes toward people with disabilities: accessibility lessons, communication hours, workshops, friendly meetings, video screenings, thematic exhibitions, dance classes, and creative workshops where students can express their understanding of accessibility.

On May 19, a friendly gathering titled “We Are Just Like Everyone” took place at the Odesa Palace of Children and Youth Creativity “White Acacia.”

Participants and guests engaged in workshops, intellectual games, and the planting of houseplants.
