A new national record has been established in Odesa as cadets and students of the Ukrainian Navy unfurled the largest naval flag.
This was announced by the Navy Commander Oleksiy Neizhpapa on his social media page.
The flag measures an impressive 35 meters in length and 19.8 meters in width. It was unfurled on the Potemkin Stairs. This event has been recorded in the National Register of Records of Ukraine.
“Our flag symbolizes courage, resilience, and dedication to our nation. Under this banner, many victories have already been achieved. I believe that the greatest triumphs are still ahead!” remarked the Navy Commander.
The flag was unfurled in honor of the Navy Day, celebrated in Ukraine on the first Sunday of July.
