On the eve of Healthcare Workers Day, Odesa held ceremonies to highlight the crucial role of medical professionals in the community.

The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, expressed his gratitude to healthcare workers for their professionalism and commitment during challenging times:

«Odesa thanks each of you for your daily efforts, your resilience, and compassion».

Despite the ongoing difficulties, the city's medical system continues to progress: new departments are being opened, technology is being updated, and medical staff are enhancing their qualifications.

This year, modern cardiology and surgical departments were launched at Hospital No. 11, while Children's Hospital No. 3 saw the establishment of advanced surgical and trauma services.

Renovations are ongoing at Hospital No. 1 and the infectious diseases hospital. Special attention is given to the rehabilitation of veterans.

The Mayor emphasized that even in the toughest times, health care remains a priority, and medical professionals exemplify resilience and dedication.

In honor of the occasion, outstanding healthcare workers in Odesa received accolades for their contributions.
