On September 27, in Odesa, at the T.G. Shevchenko park concert venue «Shell», a memorable celebration took place — the event «From Phonograph to Smartphone», organized by the KP «Parks of Odesa» in collaboration with community organizations «IT Grandmas», «Silver Age», and «Golden Middle» as part of the «Planet of Longevity» festival, dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons.
This day vividly demonstrated that age is not just a number, but a state of soul.
Wise artists captivated the audience with their talents: a fashion show styled as «senior runway», heartfelt poetry readings and humorous sketches, soulful performances of songs straight from the heart, and lively dances.
The performance by strongman Mykola Pasichnyk and his students added a special energy, showcasing their skills and bringing joy to participants through engaging contests.
The day concluded with delicious porridge, personally cooked by the strongman, who added, as he said, «not just spices, but a prayer — so that everything goes well for everyone». This warm event reminded us that true youth lives within us as long as we create, share kindness, learn new things, and support each other. Respectable age is not an end, but rather a wonderful continuation of life, filled with meaning, joy, and love.
