Today, on the International Volunteer Day, Odesa extends its heartfelt gratitude to various charitable organizations that, in collaboration with municipal services, are working to eliminate the aftermath of hostile attacks. This was reported by the press service of the Odesa City Council.
Volunteers are among the first to respond, offering assistance and warming the hearts of those affected:
- NGO "April Tenth" supported by UNHCR;
- NGO "Winds of Change";
- World Central Kitchen;
- Hromada Hub;
- Ukrainian Red Cross Society;
- NGO "Food of Life Odesa";
- Charity Fund "Reach for the Sky";
- Nova Ukraine;
- Association "Council of Cities";
- International Rescue Committee;
- Dobrobat (Ukrainian Volunteer Construction Battalion);
- UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs;
- Global Empowerment Mission in partnership with Howard G. Buffett Foundation;
- NGO "Morning of Revival";
- Caritas Ukraine;
- NGO "Your City".
A special thanks goes to the head of the charity fund "Reach for the Sky", advisor to the acting mayor of Odesa, Veronika Etnarovich, who coordinates the interaction between NGOs and city authorities. This kind of teamwork proves its effectiveness, ensuring that assistance reaches everyone in need.
