From April 4 to 8, the Wushu Championship of Ukraine took place in Brovary, featuring athletes of all ages (sanshou light).

About 200 competitors from 10 regions of Ukraine participated in the event.

The representatives from Odesa were athletes from Sports School No. 1.

The champions of Ukraine included Marina Yazikova, Valeria Blagodyr, Irina Mizina, and Erika-Yuliana Chen.

Alexander Oliynyk took home the bronze medal, while Ivan Agayev earned silver among older juniors.

The Odesa regional team secured first place in the overall standings.
