From October 20 to 25, Odesa hosted a nationwide boxing tournament dedicated to the memory of the distinguished athlete Semen Trestin.

Over a hundred young boxers from across Ukraine participated in this event, which was revived after a six-year hiatus.

Arthur Prodan, a student at the Complex Children and Youth Sports School No. 8, competed in the 70 kg weight category, winning all three of his bouts and securing first place. This achievement grants him the title of «Master of Sports of Ukraine».

Ivan Karpov, another athlete from the same school, earned a bronze medal in the 60 kg category and achieved the standard for the candidate in masters of sports of Ukraine.

The athletes were trained by experienced coaches Volodymyr Osipchuk, Dmytro Boboshko, and Ihor Hordiienko.
