While carrying out a combat mission, a soldier from Odesa, Dmytro Yaremchuk, lost his life on the Bakhmut front. He was 44 years old. Farewell services will be held on April 4.

According to the Yuzhne city territorial community, Sergeant Dmytro Yaremchuk served as a machine gunner in the mechanized battalion of military unit A0666. He died on March 4 of this year during a combat mission near the settlement of Pivnichne in the Donetsk region.

"We express our heartfelt condolences to Dmytro's family, his relatives, and comrades-in-arms. Eternal memory to the Defender of Ukraine who sacrificed his life for our homeland!"

On April 4, a Day of Mourning has been declared in the community. In sign of grief, we ask for the flags to be flown at half-mast on all community buildings."
