Today, in the Heavenly Hundred square, bells have been hung on the trees — symbols of remembrance for the children whose lives were cut short by the war instigated by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. Each bell serves as a reminder of a young life forever cherished.

12 cherry trees, 12 bells, 12 lost souls from Odesa. Nine of them are young Odesans who will forever remain children.

Since February 24, 2022, 631 children have lost their lives in Ukraine.
