As a result of a nighttime assault, one of the oldest medical facilities in Odessa - the city infectious disease hospital - was damaged.

This was reported by the mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov.

More than 100 windows and doors were damaged across four buildings. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The hospital grounds include a monument of architecture and history of national significance, where the renowned Professor Pirogov worked.

All city services are already engaged in addressing the aftermath. The new hospital buildings are operating as usual.
