According to reports from the State Emergency Service of the Odessa region, a fire erupted on the 7th, 8th, and 9th floors of a 21-story residential building. People were trapped in their apartments, and due to heavy smoke and high temperatures, it was difficult to reach them. Rescuers simultaneously saved people and extinguished the fire.
Firefighters rescued 5 individuals, including 1 small child.
Unfortunately, preliminary information indicates that 2 people have died.
Details about the injured are being clarified, with reports of four known victims as of this morning.
