On July 3, an attack in Odesa caused damage to the building of the Chinese Consulate.

Following the massive Russian air strike on Ukraine on July 4, components of the Russian-Iranian combat drone «Shahed-136»/«Gheran-2», recently supplied from China, were discovered in Kyiv. According to Sybiha, the building of the Chinese Consulate in Odesa sustained minor damage as a result of Russian strikes on the city.
