This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky in his Facebook post, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

"In one week, Russia launched massive strikes against Ukraine: over 1800 drones, more than 1200 guided bombs, and 83 missiles. The enemy is trying to intimidate the population by escalating attacks on cities and communities," the president noted.

Zelensky also emphasized that Ukrainian air defense forces are showing good results despite Moscow's aggression.

"Interceptor drones have performed particularly well – hundreds of Russian 'Shahed' drones have been downed this week," he added.

The president mentioned that all meetings with international partners this week focused on enhancing this technology's effectiveness.

Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to everyone investing in the protection of Ukrainian lives, as well as to the soldiers safeguarding the skies.

The head of state stressed that 'Shaheds' are one of Russia's methods of prolonging the war and called for their neutralization to expedite diplomatic efforts.

He also expressed hope for the fulfillment of all agreements that will strengthen Ukraine's defense, as well as strong decisions from the USA, Europe, the G7 countries, and all partners.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of July 12, Russian forces attacked cities across Ukraine, launching 26 cruise missiles and 597 drones.
