On the night of September 2, the port infrastructure in the Izmail district of Odesa region was attacked by Russian occupiers.
This was reported by the press service of the Izmail District State Administration.
«Thanks to prompt action, significant destruction and casualties among the population were avoided. Fires were quickly extinguished», the statement reads.

Later, it was revealed that a 22-year-old man was injured during the drone attack on Izmail and was transported to the hospital. This was reported by the press service of the Odesa prosecutor's office. The port infrastructure and property of several enterprises were also damaged. Prosecutors are working on-site in collaboration with police officers.
Under the procedural guidance of the Izmail District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding military crimes (Part 1 Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
