On November 4, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense's Intelligence Directorate announced a successful reconnaissance and sabotage operation in the «grey zone» at the site of the former Kakhovka Reservoir.
The operation was carried out by the fighters of the «Brotherhood» unit, which is part of the military intelligence unit «Timur».
In the area of «Velyki Kuchuhury», located 7 km from the shoreline, intelligence operatives identified and eliminated two Russian invaders.
«Our fighters raised the blue and yellow flag over the islands and took control of the area»,— the official statement noted.
Earlier, GUR fighters had hunted down three radar stations and a Russian landing boat in Crimea.
