The Central Library System for Adults in Odessa announces the commencement of the annual literary contest in honor of K.G. Paustovsky.

Submissions for the K.G. Paustovsky Award will be accepted until May 20, 2025.

The contest features five categories:
- «Prose»;
- «Poetry»;
- «Promotion of K.G. Paustovsky's Works»;
- «Regional Studies»;
- «Maritime Literature».

Entries should promote universal moral values, the spiritual growth of individuals, and love for their homeland.

Submitted works must be published as a standalone edition or as part of a collection, anthology published in the current or previous years.

Nominations for the «Promotion of K.G. Paustovsky's Works» category can be submitted by cultural, scientific, and social organizations.

In the «Maritime Literature» category, participants can include writers, artists, and organizers of social and cultural projects related to the sea.

Each participant can only enter one category.

A participant can only win once in each individual category.

The results of the contest will be announced by May 25, 2025.

The award ceremony for winners is scheduled for May 31, 2025.
