On July 9, 2025, in Odesa, patrol officers Mykola Morozov and Serhiy Onufran received an alarming report about an injured dog lying on Lvivska Street.
Upon arrival, they discovered that the animal sustained serious injuries, likely caused by gunfire.
With the help of the reporter, volunteers, and the director of the Odesa Zoo, they carefully transported the injured dog to the veterinary clinic.
The dog is currently under medical supervision, and its condition is stable.
Investigators have initiated a criminal case based on signs of animal cruelty.
