New Attack on Odesa: Impact and Recovery

image

On the night of July 18-19, the city of Odesa was targeted again by enemy drones in a large-scale attack.

The strike resulted in damage to residential buildings, civilian infrastructure, and vehicles, with casualties reported, including a woman who tragically died despite being rescued.

Municipal services in Odesa, along with district administrations, are working to mitigate the effects of the recent enemy shelling.

Experts from municipal enterprises such as “ZKS Cheriomushki,” “ZKS Vuzivskiy,” “City Roads,” and “Miskzelentrest” are promptly sealing broken windows in damaged buildings with protective film and plywood, clearing debris, and ensuring the cleanup of surrounding areas.

Currently, it is known that the blast wave damaged 138 windows in apartments and entrances, along with 12 balcony blocks. A total of 21 cubic meters of debris has been removed.

About 200 municipal service workers and heavy machinery (12 units) are involved in the cleanup efforts: 3 cherry pickers, 4 dump trucks, 2 excavators, 2 street sweepers, and 1 tractor.
