On October 8, 2025, an extraordinary session of the Odesa City Council convened to make critical decisions regarding aid for those affected by the recent weather events.

The council members unanimously approved a proposal to allocate funds for assisting individuals who suffered losses due to the severe weather.

Amendments to the City Social Services Program include an increase in funding by 126.28 million UAH for 2025.

This funding will be directed to district administrations for the distribution of financial aid to individuals affected by the extraordinary rainfall that occurred on September 30.

Affected individuals should contact their district administrations to apply for assistance.

The amount of aid available is as follows:

• for apartments in multi-apartment buildings — up to 87,600 UAH;
• for private houses — up to 189,900 UAH.
