The quality of artesian water in the wells of Odesa is analyzed by the State Institution «Odesa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine».
According to an agreement between the Communal Enterprise «Service Center» and the State Institution «ODESA Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health», water testing for consumers is conducted once a month.
Based on microbiological studies, as of October 2025, the purified drinking water from the well complexes complies with the hygienic standards DSanPin 2.2.4-171-10.
Protocols are posted at all well complexes, allowing anyone to familiarize themselves with the results.

There are 17 well complexes in Odesa, with well depths ranging from 111 to 149 meters. All wells are maintained by the Communal Enterprise «Service Center». According to estimates, an average of 45,000 city residents use the well complexes daily. The average water consumption in one well is 8 – 12 cubic meters. Water from the wells is available to everyone.
