Experts from the Municipal Enterprise «SMEP» are continuing their work on the installation of uninterruptible power supply systems at traffic light locations throughout the city.

The new systems have been set up at eight crucial intersections:

- Italian St. – Uspenska St.;
- Oleksandrivskyi Ave. – Sviatoslav Karavansky St. (near Odesa Lyceum No. 1);
- Mechnikova St. – Vysokyi Lane;
- Italian St. – Greek St.;
- Balkivska St. – Melnytska St.;
- 28th Brigade St. – Prince Volodymyr the Great Ave.;
- Ataman Holovaty St. – Odariya St.;
- Chornomorske Cossacks St., 72 (PRAT “ODESILMASH”)

Such measures are aimed at improving traffic safety and reducing accident rates even in the event of power supply interruptions.
