A significant community service event occurred in Odessa.

In Preobrazhensky Park, a total of 100 trees were planted. Across various locations in the city, nearly 200 trees were planted, including acacias, Japanese sophoras, maples, and ashes.

Along Uspenskaya Street and on French Boulevard, 33 Japanese sophoras and 32 acacia trees were planted where stumps were removed.

«Last year, we acquired stump removal equipment for the City Greens Enterprise using budget funds. What used to take a whole day now takes just half an hour to remove a stump. We are planting new trees in the cleared spaces. Thank you to everyone who participated!» — stated the Mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov.

Additionally, residents collaborated with municipal workers to plant trees on Mykolaivska Road and clean up the slopes along the Health Trail.
