In November, a series of activities were held in Odessa to promote the mental health of participants in the educational process as part of the nationwide program «How are you?».
Students participated in various sessions including training hours on «Preserving Mental Health. The World of Emotions – Our Resource», and «Mental Health – The Key to a Happy Life», as well as class hours focusing on «How are you?», «Emotions and Their Impact», «Everything is in Our Hands», and «Rules of Friendship». They also engaged in playful activities like «The World of Emotions» and «First Aid Kit», and participated in roundtable discussions on «Preservation and Restoration of Mental Health. Help and Self-Help», along with interactive exercises such as «Mood Diary» and «Support Circle».
Additionally, students who relocated from temporarily occupied territories took part in discussions titled «My Mental Health», physical activity lessons, and collective creative exercises as part of the «How are you?» program.
Parents and educators participated in workshops titled «Safe Space». During discussions, they addressed the emotional state of children at the start of the academic year. Individual consultations and informational materials were also provided on supporting children's mental health and their adaptation to learning environments.
To ensure access to information and useful tips on mental health, educational institutions published materials from the «How are you?» program on their websites, including QR codes with information and recommendations for parents and educators.
