Quote: "We celebrate together with the whole world the day when, 80 years ago, people united in the fight against evil. Unfortunately, history is repeating itself, and again we hear the sirens of alarm, as evil threatens our country once more. On the morning of February 24, Kyiv's streets were deserted, but now life is here. Three years ago, Russian machinery was destroyed in the city's center, and only such a parade of evil could be held here."

Details: The President noted that in the capital of the aggressor state, marches with tanks and other military equipment are taking place, featuring fake characters portraying victory. "You have perpetuated this cruelty. Ukraine has witnessed it, and the whole world has too."

Zelensky highlighted that over 8 million Ukrainians lost their lives in this struggle, and almost every family has a hero who has fought against the new evil.

The President also mentioned the memorial to the victims at Independence Square.

"This place of memory shows why Ukraine is alive and why our people cherish their heroes. Once, there was only a sheet of paper stating: "Place a flag if you know someone killed by Russia." Now it stands as a symbol of our gratitude and respect. This is not a monument but a reflection of the human desire to honor heroes."

The President emphasized: Russia must change, or the world will have to change. Just as it did 80 years ago, when it became evident that appeasing evil is impossible.
