Odesa Poetry Festival: A Gathering of Contemporary Voices

On November 1-2, the third edition of the «Meridian Odesa Poetry Readings» will take place in Odesa, organized by the International Literary Corporation Meridian Czernowitz. The event organizers announced that this year’s format is a two-day festival featuring nine literary-discussion events with leading figures of contemporary Ukrainian literature and culture.
Among the guests are Artem Chekh, Andriy Lyubka, Yaryna Chornoguz, Yevhen Volodchenko (rapper Kurhan), Dina Chmuzh, Myroslav Laiuk, Ivan Malkovych, Oleksandr Boychenko, and Yevheniya Lopata. The festival will include book launches, such as Yaryna Chornoguz’s poetry collection «A Shared Saffron», Artem Chekh’s prose work «The Game of Disguises», Myroslav Laiuk’s reports «Lists», and Andriy Lyubka’s spy novel «An Evening in Istanbul».
The festival will also feature musical-poetic performances, creative evenings, and readings from Odesa poets. The curator and moderator of the event is Svitlana Bondar.
