The Odesa regional forensic bureau has officially launched a state-of-the-art genetic laboratory. This initiative marks a significant advancement in conducting DNA testing in line with international standards.

The laboratory will enhance the identification of fallen soldiers, facilitate collaboration with governmental bodies and security forces during repatriation processes, and support investigations and forensic examinations.

Amid the ongoing war, this represents a critical step in honoring the memory of fallen heroes and assisting families of the missing. Furthermore, the laboratory boosts the development of the medical sector in Odesa and strengthens its capabilities in wartime.
