Representatives from healthcare facilities in Odessa participated in a regional forum titled «Rehabilitation Assistance within the Medical Guarantee Program», organized by the National Health Service of Ukraine for leaders of medical institutions in the Odessa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.

During the forum, the results of the scheduled monitoring of medical institutions regarding compliance with the contract conditions for the «Rehabilitation Assistance for Adults and Children in Inpatient Settings» program were presented.

Participants discussed the findings of the monitoring and strategies for addressing key issues to enhance the capabilities and improve the quality of inpatient rehabilitation services.

Additionally, the forum showcased new tools within the electronic healthcare system related to the rehabilitation process, aimed at making electronic document management more convenient.

In Odessa, as part of the state medical guarantee program, inpatient rehabilitation services for adults are provided by municipal hospitals No. 1, No. 8, No. 10, and No. 11. The children's municipal clinical hospital No. 3 offers rehabilitation services for children. These medical facilities are equipped with modern technology, allowing for a wide range of rehabilitation procedures.

Renovation works are also underway to expand the rehabilitation capabilities of the municipal clinical hospital No. 1 and to establish a robust rehabilitation center based at municipal hospital No. 5.
