On October 16, 2025, a workshop titled “Psychological Well-being — The Key to Life” was held in Odesa. This event was organized with the support of the Odesa Health Department and the Regional Family Medicine Association in honor of World Mental Health Day.

This year, Odesa's medical facilities provided over 35,000 services related to mental health and psychological support for adults and children, including internally displaced persons and military personnel.

There are 16 psychological offices operating in the city. Additionally, two integrated support centers have been established at the Primary Healthcare Centers in the Kyiv and Peresyp districts, where teams consist of psychologists, social workers, and lawyers. These centers provide comprehensive assistance to individuals in crisis situations, particularly those affected by war or gender-based violence.

Notably, the Mental Health Center opened at the City Clinical Hospital No. 10 offers consultations with psychologists and medical-psychiatric support.

Another Mental Health Center will soon be launched at City Clinical Hospital No. 1 under a partnership with the French Development Agency (AFD), with renovations underway at the Jewish Hospital facility.

Psychological services in Odesa are provided free of charge under the program “How Are You?”. Anyone interested can reach out to qualified specialists for support.

The city's Health Department also places great emphasis on the mental health of medical workers, organizing burnout prevention training and individual counseling opportunities.
