Last week, the Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, Edem Adamov, visited Odesa City Clinical Hospital No. 11 during a working trip.
The hospital recently opened a modern department of cardiology and cardiac surgery, equipped with the latest high-precision medical devices. This marks a significant step towards enhancing the cardiology cluster in the city and improving patient access to medical care.
Plans are underway to expand diagnostic capabilities, as Hospital No. 11 serves as a key facility for trauma care.
During the visit, an assessment of the premises for the installation of MRI - a critically essential device - was conducted, which will allow:
- to quickly and accurately determine the extent of injuries in patients with severe trauma;
- to enhance the quality of injury diagnostics;
- to ensure continuity of patient care without referrals to other hospitals;
- to expand capabilities for emergency and planned neurodiagnostics.
«The installation of the MRI will be an important strategic step that will strengthen Hospital No. 11's role as a significant clinical center for providing highly specialized care to residents of Odesa and visitors to the city,» noted Olena Kolodenko, Director of the Health Department of the Odesa City Council.
