With the assistance of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, the KNP “Odessa Regional Clinical Hospital” has received significant humanitarian aid from American philanthropist and former senator John Kachelman through the charity organization «International Horizons» led by Alireza Pahlavanzade.

As part of this initiative, the hospital has been provided with medical supplies and rehabilitation equipment that will greatly assist many patients. This aid will improve the conditions for treatment and rehabilitation within the facility.

According to doctors, this humanitarian assistance will significantly ease the lives of hospital patients, especially those in rehabilitation or with limited mobility.

In total, the institution received:

• wheelchairs to aid individuals with disabilities;
• standard and forearm crutches to support patients during movement;
• walkers that allow recovering patients to move safely and comfortably;
• medical clothing for doctors and nurses to ensure sterility;
• adult diapers, which are particularly important for patients with limited mobility;
• gloves used to maintain hygiene during medical services.

These supplies are vital for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients, creating comfort for medical staff and ensuring an appropriate level of medical services.

Additionally, humanitarian aid from “International Horizons” will not only improve treatment conditions and enhance patient service quality but also allow the hospital to upgrade its material and technical base. The collaboration between medical institutions and charitable organizations is essential, especially as the medical field faces numerous challenges today, including shortages of resources and materials.
