In the first nine months of 2024, the Family Health Center saw 18,305 patients.

During this period, over 5,000 mammographic examinations were conducted, allowing for the timely detection of 145 cases of breast cancer and a range of other diseases.

The unique Family Health Center has been operating for four years as part of the consultative diagnostic center No. 6, located at Zoo Park Street, 8.

This is the first outpatient facility in Ukraine dedicated to comprehensive prevention and early diagnosis of breast diseases in women, men, and adolescents.

The center features a modern mammograph made in Italy, acquired through the social project "Public Budget." Here, patients can consult with a mammologist, gynecologist, and other specialists, as well as access an ultrasound room and an operating theater. The center's laboratory provides a wide range of hormonal and immunological tests.

Women over 40 are advised to undergo screening mammography annually, even in the absence of complaints. Early diagnosis allows for the detection of precancerous conditions and tumors at early stages, which are successfully treatable.
