From July 12 to 19, 2025, Odesa invites you to the French Culture Week — a series of artistic events celebrating the cultural ties with France. The program includes concerts, art exhibitions, literary readings, musical performances, and an open-air festival. Odesa has a rich history of collaboration with France, particularly through French emigrants who settled in the city, creating a unique atmosphere.

The French language once served as the language of the intellectual elite and diplomacy in Odesa, and its influence can be seen in the architecture and cultural life of the city. For instance, Odesa has had a French boulevard since the 19th century.

The program of events includes:

July 12, 18:00: Opening of the week — concert "Bonjour, la France!" at the Odesa National University Botanical Garden.

This evening promises to be unforgettable with live music and wine tasting. Registration is required.

July 13, 18:30: Odesa Combo concert — a French party under the stars.

Free entrance.

July 14-18: Exhibition "France Through the Eyes of Ukrainian Artists" at the Odesa City Council Hall.

July 15, 13:00: Literary readings at the Central City Library.

July 16, 13:00: Cultural event La belle France at the library.

July 19, 17:00: French Culture Festival in the City Garden.

Participation Conditions: Registration is mandatory for the concert on July 12.
