Restoration of Online Services by Ukrzaliznytsia

Teams from "Ukrzaliznytsia", along with partners and leading experts, are tirelessly working to restore online services.

"In a secure environment, a backup infrastructure has been deployed, all components for restarting critical systems from backups have been prepared, and thorough diagnostics of backups and identification of potentially harmful elements are ongoing. Complex connections between various systems are being restored," the statement reads.

Ukrzaliznytsia noted that ticket counters at all stations continue to operate in an enhanced mode with extended hours. For example, in Kyiv, 18 counters were opened on March 24 instead of the usual 8. All trains continue to run strictly on schedule.

On Sunday, March 23, the online systems of "Ukrzaliznytsia" were subjected to a large-scale targeted cyberattack: the restoration of all systems lasted throughout the past day and continues.

The key ticket sales system of "Ukrzaliznytsia", which serves all ticket counters, withstood the attack and remained operational.
