New Children's Center in Bessarabskoye

A new daycare center called «Bessarabian Fortress» is set to open in the village of Bessarabskoye. This center will provide a safe space for children aged 5 to 14 from large, displaced, and vulnerable families, as shared by the Bessarabskoye village council of the Bolgrad district.

At the center, children will be able to play, learn, and receive assistance from a psychologist and speech therapist, prepare for school, and make new friends—all in a gadget-free environment.

The project is being implemented with the support of the international charity organization SOS Children's Villages Ukraine, as part of the «Emergency Assistance Program», in collaboration with the NGO «Democracy Culture» and the Bessarabskoye community social service center.

While the children are cared for by the educators, parents will have the opportunity to attend to their own matters—such as finding a job, visiting a doctor, or addressing other needs.

The center will also host special meetings for parents to help them better understand their children, provide support, and build trusting relationships.

«Bessarabian Fortress» is a step towards a stronger community through caring for children and their futures.
