Fire Hazard Alert in Ukraine

image

In most regions of Ukraine, excluding Crimea and the western provinces, a state of emergency has been declared from April 29 to May 1 due to high fire risks.

This information is reported by the Ukrainian Meteorological Center.

During this period, there will be a significant risk of forest and field fires, with the most dangerous conditions expected in the central, southern, eastern, and parts of northern regions.

The emergency (fifth) level of fire hazard prohibits open flames in forests, fields, and near populated areas. Rescue services urge citizens to follow fire safety rules, refrain from burning dry grass, and ensure that campfires are properly extinguished.
