The Main Department of the State Tax Service in Odesa draws the attention of businesses to instances of fake emails supposedly sent by the deputy head of the tax service. These emails request 150,000 UAH for the purchase of military supplies and equipment for the Armed Forces.
The tax service is not involved in these communications. Their purpose is to deceive businesses and discredit the tax authority.
IMPORTANT! Employees of the Main Department of the State Tax Service operate strictly within the law and do not send such emails.
The Southern Department of the Anti-Corruption Department has already contacted law enforcement with a statement regarding these fraudulent actions.
To prevent fraud, we urge all taxpayers to be vigilant, not to fall for suspicious offers, and to verify information thoroughly.
