Last night in Odesa, on Prince Volodymyr the Great Avenue, a fire ignited in an apartment on the ninth floor of a nine-story residential building.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

During the firefighting efforts, a citizen born in 1975 was rescued. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently being investigated.

The fire was swiftly extinguished.

A total of 6 units of equipment and 24 firefighters were involved in the operation.
