In Odesa, restoration work is ongoing for a residential building that was hit by a missile strike.
For the past six months, recovery operations have been taking place at the apartment building on Shevchenko Avenue, 8v, which has repeatedly suffered damage from attacks by Russian forces.
The most recent incident occurred during a city bombardment on November 18, 2024, when the roof, floors, and supporting structures were damaged.
The project is being managed by the Odesa City Council's Department of Municipal Economy.
Currently, active work is underway on the second floor: new walls made of aerated concrete blocks are being constructed. Damaged areas have been dismantled, walls reinforced, and inter-floor ceilings replaced with new reinforced concrete slabs.
The next phase involves the installation of an armature belt and the ceiling of the second floor.
All work is being carried out in accordance with the approved project documentation and construction standards.
Recently, restoration works have also begun in central Odesa at the following addresses: Novoselskoho Street, 51, and Pastera, 54.
