Official sources reported the apprehension of an individual attempting to escape to Moldova via a paraglider.

This information was released by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on Telegram.

According to the report, a 48-year-old resident of Khmelnytskyi decided to cross the border using a paraglider he purchased online for 500 euros. He chose a field near the border for takeoff and intended to fly without any documents or navigation – "by sight".

Border guards from the Mohyliv-Podilskyi unit intercepted the man before he could take off.

“The violator has been detained and held accountable administratively,” the State Border Guard Service concluded.
