Last night, a tragic fire occurred in the Odesa region, in the village of Mizhlimanske, where a private house on Vysneva Street was engulfed in flames. During the firefighting efforts, rescuers discovered the lifeless body of a man, whose identity is currently unknown. The fire affected an area of 95 square meters.
According to the State Emergency Service of Odesa region, the fire spread through the private residence and its annex. Although the firefighters managed to localize and extinguish the fire effectively, they found the body of the deceased during the operation.
The identity of the deceased is being determined by law enforcement agencies. Investigations are also underway to establish the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage. Preliminary theories suggest possible negligence with fire, electrical faults, or other technical reasons.
"During the firefighting operation, the body of a man was found, and the identity is being established," reported the State Emergency Service.
To combat the fire, 3 units of equipment and 13 firefighters were deployed. Additionally, 1 unit and 4 rescuers from the National Guard of Ukraine assisted. Their combined efforts allowed for quick localization of the flames.
The fire was extinguished over a total area of 95 square meters, including both the residential building and its annex. Firefighters operated under challenging nighttime conditions, ensuring the safety of nearby structures.
