On September 17, during the Rescue Workers' Day, Odesa delivered fire equipment received from international partners to neighboring communities in the Odesa region.
Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov congratulated the rescuers on their professional holiday and emphasized the significance of collaborative efforts:
«Today, Odesa has the necessary equipment, but our neighbors often lack such resources. Together, we face challenges and rebuild lives. Two vehicles, transferred from Mainz, are heading to the Chornomorsk community, and one to the Fontanska community. The equipment provided by Bristol will also be put to good use».
The transfer of equipment took place in coordination with international partners supporting Odesa during the war.
Furthermore, the city’s rescue team, the K.U. «Rescue and Diving Service», received rescue gear and equipment from the charity foundation «Reach for the Sky».
