The search for a boy who went missing while swimming in the Black Sea on July 28 in the area of Chornomorsk is ongoing.
According to the State Emergency Service of Odesa region, rescuers have surveyed over 1.9 million square meters of the seabed (including 82,000 square meters using an underwater drone) and 1,136 km of coastline.

It is noted that, based on preliminary information, the boy was swimming near Beach Street when he suddenly vanished from sight. Due to strong winds and large waves, divers were unable to conduct search operations on the same day. Rescuers began the search for the missing boy on the morning of July 29, as soon as weather conditions allowed.
