«Today, Google traditionally reviews the year and reveals the final rankings of searches that showed the highest interest among Ukrainian users in 2025. The analysis of search activity allowed for the identification of key themes, personalities, and events that captivated Ukrainians throughout the year», the statement reads.
The top spot was held once again by the query «Electricity Shutdown Schedule». The second place went to the reality show «The Bachelor 2025», while the third spot was claimed by the series «Squid Game 2».
The top ten also included searches for: «Labuba», «Usyk Dubois», «Eurovision 2025», and «NABU».
In the «Personality» category, the boxer Oleksandr Usyk was the leader in interest growth.
Users actively sought information about the actor Taras Tsymbaliuk, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko, and the First Lady of the USA Melania Trump.
In the «Losses» category, the most searched queries concerned blogger Anna Zhuk, politician Andriy Parubiy, actor Roman Popov, and rock musician Ozzy Osbourne.
The highest interest among films was attracted by the sci-fi action movie «The Abyss». The second and third places went to the gothic horror film «Nosferatu» and the drama «The Good Bad Girl».
Also making the top ten were a movie based on the popular video game «Minecraft», the Oscar-winning film «Anora», and a new version of the Dracula story.
The leader in the television series category was the second season of «Squid Game».
Also in the top were: the new season of «Wednesday», the British crime drama «Gangsterland», Ukrainian series «Reverse Direction», «Little House of Happiness», and «Love and Flame»; the Turkish series «Distant City» and the Spanish «Billionaire Bunker».
In the «Shopping» category, the top search of the year was for the toy «Labuba». In addition, Ukrainians were interested in purchasing pickups for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, women's military uniforms, and EcoFlow charging stations.
In 2025, Ukrainian users frequently sought to understand the meanings of the terms «white ticket», «NABU», «mobilization order», and «lifelong maintenance agreement».
