Representatives from Odesa, Rivne, and Chernivtsi regions gathered to discuss the importance of partnerships and identify which business tools support companies during challenging times.
Over 40 participants, including entrepreneurs, community leaders, researchers, and activists, convened in Bukovina to:
- Transform challenges into opportunities by discussing entrepreneurship amidst security risks and paths from crisis response to recovery;
- Uncover the strength of partnerships by exploring collaboration dynamics since the onset of the full-scale invasion and horizons for local economic development;
- Share real experiences by presenting successful recovery cases from their communities;
- Find new partners through B2B meetings aimed at cooperation between communities from two regions.
The two-day event concluded with a visit to a grain terminal in Chernivtsi region, showcasing how cooperation among agribusinesses brings benefits and opens new avenues for growth.
The seminar was organized by UNDP in Ukraine in collaboration with the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration, the Department of Socio-Economic Development and Strategic Planning, the Economic Faculty of Chernivtsi National University, and representatives from economic departments.
This event was part of the project «Enhanced Partnership for Sustainable Recovery» (EPSR), funded by the Government of Sweden through the Swedish Agency for International Development Cooperation (Sida) and implemented by UNDP in Ukraine.
