On October 25, in the heart of Odesa — near the Rotunda of the City Garden — a warm and profound event took place, uniting two significant occasions:
Ukrainian Language and Writing Day, celebrated on October 27, and an Evening of Gratitude for Defenders of Ukraine.

A joint prayer of thanks was held with representatives of the Council of Churches and religious organizations from the city and the region.

 Performances were given by: Mykola Pinchuk, Sofia Kozubenko, the Dance Ensemble «Girls» of the Dalnytsia Village Council, the Estrada-Folk Ensemble «Strings of the Heart», students of the Odesa College of Arts named after K. F. Dankevych (Director — Olena Bortnikova), the orchestra of the Military-Music Center of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Conductor — Lyubomyr Sukennyk), the brotherly choir of the Odesa People's Church, Oleksandr Duzhikov, the vocal duet Artem Starushchenko and Oleksandra Vysotska, and the bands «SVITANOK» and «Victory».

The event was organized by the KP «Parks of Odesa», the Chaplaincy Community of Odesa Region, and the Council of Churches and Religious Organizations of Odesa and the region.

Partners of the event included Veterans HUB Odesa, NGO «Families of Angel of Light», NGO «WITHOUT BORDERS», NGO «Legion 12», Charitable Foundation «Good Samaritan», Charitable Foundation «Reformation», Charitable Foundation «Grow in Family», NGO «Live Life», NGO «Mother's Hands», DNP «Center for Mother and Child», NGO «Community Pulse», and the All-Ukrainian Union of Defenders.
