In Mukachevo, located in the Zakarpattia region, the Ukrainian Boccia Championship was held for athletes with mobility impairments, featuring 66 competitors from 13 regions of Ukraine.
Representing the Odesa region were Ivanna Shvets and Ivan Myslyai, both trained at the Odesa Regional Center for Physical Culture and Sports for Persons with Disabilities "Invasport."
The athletes were coached by Natalia Yushkina, the senior coach of the Ukrainian national boccia team.
Here are the results of their performances:
- Ivanna Shvets secured first place and was crowned the Ukrainian boccia champion.
- Ivan Myslyai continues to gain competitive experience, finishing in sixth place at this event.
The achievements of our athletes represent a significant contribution to the development of inclusive sports in the region and the country. Each step towards victory proves that sports are accessible to all and should become even more open and supported!
